homebody is my personal journal dedicated to the art and beauty of home.

I’m a textile designer and mother to two girls, Violet (4) and Dahlia (1). My husband and I moved from Brooklyn to the Hudson Valley in 2020 (pandemic escape) and haven’t looked back (much).

I am a homebody to my core, and home is my preferred canvas for creating beauty and self-expression. I began my career in food, specifically, hosting dinner parties for a living — and this is still very core to who I am.

I am also deeply creative, and I believe we all are — but it’s something I need to do often to feel like myself. Around the time we left the city, I fell in love with textiles and taught myself to put patterns into repeat. I started my own line and experimented making some block-printed homewares and apparel out of India, but put it all on pause when Dahlia was born.

I’m now in the process of refining where I want it to go so will be sharing bits and pieces of that journey here — along with other notes and musings on design, cooking, and life from our little hamlet in the country.
